Money is vital for survival in the modern world. We have bills to pay and we want money to spend on things we enjoy. These Magickal workings help to draw in wealth and abundance. They’re simple but powerful, and if cast correctly you’ll soon have prosperity in your life.

As with all things, wealth and abundance mean different things to different people. For me, they mean being able to keep a roof over my head, put food on the table, and not having to struggle. I also appreciate what I have. There is nothing wrong with wanting more money to flow into your life or more abundance to be present. You deserve it! Just be conscious of what you’re asking for and start with reasonable desires — a raise, a new job opportunity, or money owed showing up. Start there and always remember to be grateful for whatever comes into your life.

Bayberry blank-check money spell

I have come across various versions of blank-check spells and I still come back to this bayberry version I learnt from a spirit I met on my porch, who told me a little trick that I have found particularly successful. This is the spell I’m sharing here.

What you need

Your checkbook

A jar of water

1fl oz (30ml) bayberry oil

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

What to do

✵ When it’s a Full Moon phase, take a blank check from your checkbook and write ’Now’ on the ’date’ line. On the ’Pay to’ line write your full name. In the box where you usually write the amount in figures write ’What is owed,’ and do the same on the line where you usually write the amount in words. Sign the check in your usual way.

✵ Put the check into the jar of water, along with the bayberry oil and the cinnamon. Now spit once into the jar, screw on the lid, and wait for money to come into your life.

Allspice money rice spell

The enchanted rice in this spell isn’t for eating, but it still packs a punch — by bringing in money when you need it.

What you need

A small bowl

A jar with a tightly fitting lid

1 cup (200g) brown rice

2 tablespoons ground allspice

1 tablespoon black pepper powder

1 tablespoon dried dill

1 tablespoon ground nutmeg

1fl oz (30ml) verbena essential oil

A low-denomination bill

Clear quartz chippings

1 tablespoon cinnamon

What to do

✵ Mix all of the edible ingredients, plus the verbena oil, in the bowl.

✵ Cut the bill into little pieces and combine with the other ingredients. Take the quartz chippings and stir them in too.

✵ Put the mixture into the jar and screw on the lid. Sprinkle the cinnamon on the top of the lid or around the jar, or both.

✵ Place the jar in the location you need money, such as at home or at your workplace.

Alfalfa buried-apple spell

This spell sends a message to the Elements that you desire money, wealth, or another form of abundance, such as a new opportunity. You must create the spell at night during a Full Moon phase and have easy access to a natural environment.

What you need

1 green apple

1 teaspoon dried alfalfa leaf

1 teaspoon dried chamomile

1 teaspoon dried chopped ginger root

2 or 3 bay leaves

1 tablespoon honey

What to do

✵ Using a sharp knife, carefully carve a tunnel-like hole in the side of the apple, stopping when you reach the core.

✵ Stuff the alfalfa, chamomile, ginger, and honey into the hole then press the bay leaf in to act as a seal — it will look as though the apple is growing bay out of its side.

✵ During a Full Moon phase, bury the apple at midnight in a natural environment.
