The Basics

This layout calls back, heals and integrates any parts of the soul that have been left at the point of trauma, soothes the heart and reconnects to a purer ’divine’ source energy rather than old, bruised personal or ancestral energy. It sends healing down the ancestral line if required. For this layout, find yourself a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. Switch off your phone and lie down comfortably. Ensure you are warm enough and that there will be no loud noises to break into your silence. If you find it difficult to remain still and silent, a shamanic drumming track played quietly in the background may be helpful as it will entrain your heartbeat and brainwaves into relaxation mode.

Place a grounding stone at your feet and put your grounding cord in place (see page 19).

Place Blue Kyanite or other healing crystal on the causal vortex chakra above your head (dowse for its placement in advance if necessary as it may be located above or to one side or other of your head, see page 53).

Place Nuummite, Preseli Bluestone or other healing crystal on the forehead.

Place Kunzite, Danburite or other healing crystal on the heart.

Place Black Tourmaline or other detoxifying crystal on the base chakra.

Image If there is a past life or transgenerational component to the PTSD, placing Ancestralite or other appropriate ancestral or karmic healing stone in the hollow at the base of the neck or held in your hands over your sacral chakra is helpful.

Image If there is an abuse or assault component, several Mangano Calcite, Rose Quartz or other abuse-healing crystals placed around the navel and close to the heart is helpful. A Shiva Lingam or Shiva Shell between the base and sacral chakra may also assist.

Breathe gently and slowly, establishing a regular pattern. Pause between breaths and make the out breath longer than the in.

Repeat quietly to yourself: “I am safe, I am healed, I am protected. I forgive and let go.” (If there is a transgenerational component add: “We are safe, we are healed, we are protected. We all forgive and let go.”)

Leave stones in place for 15—20 minutes.

Carry one of the stones with you at all times and repeat the affirmation if a stressor trigger occurs.
