Not For Tourists Guide to Seattle (2016)
Central Seattle
Leschi
Map 10
Gee, Toto, there's no place like Leschi. The neighborhood rises quietly above the shores of Lake Washington, boasting spectacular views of Mt. Rainier, the Cascade Range, Mt. Baker, the screaming Blue Angels in August, and decorated Christmas ships during December. The packed retail core is home to throngs of weekend cyclists, kayakers, and boaters, but there's plenty of room to toss Frisbees and chase kids in the spacious parks.
