The areca palm is a wonderful plant for both indoors and outdoors, as she grows quickly, with gently bushing leaves growing in clumps. She does require a little extra care—like most palms, she needs a lot of light, and she also needs some feeding. She can turn brown and get spots if she doesn’t receive enough magnesium and iron.
