Elixirs can be used to anoint objects, and also people, as long as they have not been made with toxic components. Some may be consumed as well. Elixirs can also be used like objects: they can be brewed and bottled, then placed somewhere to work their effect upon the surroundings.

STONE ELIXIRS

Steep a stone in water for a measured amount of time in sunlight or moonlight. You may leave the stone in the liquid and renew the fluid as necessary. Make sure the stone is scrubbed clean and rinsed well before you use it. Also make sure you have cleansed the stone of any foreign energy by any of the methods described in Chapter 5.

COLOR ELIXIRS

Pour water into a clean colored glass jar or bottle, then leave in sunlight or moonlight for a specific amount of time. The light passing through the colored glass will imbue the liquid inside with the energy of the color. People often drink color elixirs if they feel they are lacking the energy of that certain color.

If you cannot find a jar or bottle in the color you need, take a piece of colored paper and wrap it around the outside of a clear glass bottle or jar. Pour the water into the bottle and leave it for one complete moon cycle.
