Banishing Nightmares

Crocus’s cool radiance, soothing energy, and happy disposition combine to create an excellent magical cure for nightmares. For this purpose, try taking the flower essence or adding ten drops crocus essence to a mister of rose water, along with twenty to thirty drops lavender essential oil. Shake the bottle and then lightly mist the sleep area before bed.

Cooling Violent Emotions

In the Victorian language of flowers, one of crocus’s meanings is “do not abuse.” Perhaps this is because crocus possesses an energetic dynamic that helps cool anger and other violent emotions. She can be employed magically for assistance with protecting or disentangling yourself or another from domestic violence (or any other sort of violence) and harsh emotional conditions.

For this purpose, try planting crocus in your yard, bringing her into your space, or adding six to ten drops crocus essence to a mister of spring water, along with ten drops each of peppermint and spearmint essential oils.
