Three Spells to Make a Lover Return

SPELL 1—Prick the ring finger of your left hand with a pin of silver, and with the blood, write both your name and the name of your lover on a round piece of white silk. With ashes of burnt basil (the herb of love), draw one circle surrounding both names on the silk. Fold the cloth in half and then fold over again. Stick the silver pin through the folded silk to hold it and then bury it in the earth at midnight on the third night of the waxing moon.

SPELL 2—Nail a branch of hazel over your door and leave it there for two weeks to make your lover return to you.

SPELL 3—For maximum effectiveness, the following spell should be performed on a Friday when the moon is either in Taurus or Libra. (Venus, the planet of love, is the ruler over these two signs. It is also the ruling planet of the sixth day of the week.) Stick a needle through the wick of a RED candle. Light the candle and concentrate on your lover as you recite this incantation:

LIGHT OF VENUS, LIGHT OF LOVE;

BURN IN (lover’s name) HEART

AND RETURN HIS/HER LOVE TO ME.
