Amulets and talismans are powerful magickal objects that are used to protect against evil influences, counteract illness and attract good luck.

There are some people who think that an amulet and a talisman are the same thing, and although they work in similar ways, there is a big difference between the two. Amulets are nature-made while talismans are objects created by human hands.

COWRIE SHELL AMULET—Wear a cowrie shell to increase sexual potency or place the shell on a grave to ensure the immortality of the dead buried below.

MANDRAKE AMULET—Wear a mandrake root to cure ill health and to protect against influences of evil.

TURQUOISE AMULET—Wear an amulet made of turquoise to protect against the power of the evil eye and other influences of evil and sorcery.

ANTI-SORCERY AMULETS—Suspend a red onion from the ceiling or a bedpost to protect against sorcery and keep away influences of evil. Wear a necklace of chicken bones around your neck to protect against black magick and psychic attacks. A black stone with a hole keeps away evil and works as a powerful jinx-breaker.

ANTI-NIGHTMARE AMULET—Hang a small wreath of gray feathers over a bed to prevent nightmares and bring restful sleep.
