Hampden Lane House

Architect: Robert M. Gurney Architect

Location: Bethesda, MD, USA

Photography: Maxwell MacKenzie Architectural Photographer

Architect Robert M. Gurney received a commission to build a house for a young entrepreneur who disliked the Craftsman-style house on the plot of land he’d purchased. This led to the demolition of the existing structure on the site. It was replaced by a more environmentally conscious house that provides comfortable, efficient living spaces and embraces a minimalist design.
